From Derry
Thornhill Centre is situated on the main Derry to Moville Road.
Leaving Derry, take the Strand Road, which leads to the Culmore Road (A2). Pass the roundabout at the end of Foyle Bridge and follow signs to Moville. Continue on this road for approximately 1 mile.
There is a slight bend in the road and then Thornhill becomes visible on your right (immediately before the “40 MPH” sign.)

There are cream bollards outside the entrance, which is a cream wall with a black gate.
Once through the gate, continue to the bottom of the lane, passing the gatehouse and another small building (St Catherine’s.)
At the bottom of the lane is the church and the building beside the church is Thornhill Centre.
From Donegal (Moville/Redcastle/Muff)
From Moville, travelling towards Derry, having passed through Muff and Culmore, pass a cluster of shops and the Magnet pub on the left. There are a number of new housing developments on the right. About ˝-kilometre further on, the new Thornhill College is also on the right.

Pass the new college and the old college will become visible on your left. At the end of the grey stone wall past the old college, just past the 40-MPH sign, turn left, through the cream gate and proceed to the bottom of the lane. Thornhill Convent is to the left of the church.
From Strabane/Victoria Road
At Melmount Road Roundabout take the third exit onto Great Northern Link – A5 (signposted Lifford, Londonderry.)
Continue forward. At Bradley Way Roundabout take the first exit onto Bradley Way – A5 (signposted Londonderry, Lifford.)
At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Barnhill Road – A5 (signposted Londonderry, Ballymagorry.)
Continue forward onto Victoria Road. Pass Ballymagorry, Magheramason, Newbuildings and Prehen Park. Continue forward on Victoria Road to Duke Street. You will pass the Craigavon Bridge and the train station on your left. The city centre is on the other side of the river to the left.
Continue on to Duke Street Roundabout. Take the second exit onto Waterside Link – A2 (signposted Limavady, Coleraine.)
At Waterside Roundabout take the first exit onto King Street – A2 (signposted Limavady, Coleraine.) Turn left onto the A1102 and left again onto Limavady Road – A2.
Pass The Broomhill Hotel, Bayswater and Clearwater on your left and you will come to Caw Roundabout.
Take the second exit at the roundabout, onto Foyle Bridge.
Culmore Road roundabout is at the end of Foyle Bridge. Take the third exit onto the A2 (signposted Moville.) Continue on this road for approximately 1 mile.
