At the root of many aspects of the Life of Thornhill Centre is the desire to tend to the spiritual development of those who wish to use the Centre's facilities.  Many of the individual courses and programmes are overtly committed to this.  Other aspects of the Centre's work is concerned with ensuring individuals receive nourishment for their spiritual journey and/or prayer life.

The Ignatian engagement with the Word of God, particularly through the Prayer Guidance Movement is a fundamental aspect of the ministry at the Centre.

The commitment to the provision of spiritual direction, either through team members or guest directors is also a significant aspect of our life.
