The facilities at Thornhill Centre are available for use by individuals, groups and external organisations. Because of the quality of the décor and the atmosphere within the house, Thornhill Centre is an ideal place for someone who wishes to spend a few days of reflection or time apart. At the same time, the Centre makes an excellent location for training, development and support programmes and conferences. It is also suitable for interviews and other occasions where confidentiality is paramount. Meeting Rooms There are two meeting rooms and a library available for gatherings of various sizes. As with such a stately 19th-century house, there are other spaces that are often used for break-out groups. The décor is soft and offers much to support the general ambience of comfort and reflection that is sustained throughout the building. During refurbishment, an effort was made to retain many of the original features of the house e.g. fireplaces and period furniture. Equipment such as a data-projector, screen, laptop, television, DVD and CD players, flip-charts etc is available on request. One of the conference rooms has wireless internet connection. When the Centre is hired for interview purposes, appropriate conferencing tables are available for the panel.
